Most people were never looking for a “lift chair.” They were looking for a recliner that is genuinely comfortable — one that sits beautifully, looks right in the living room, and is there with real support on the days they need it.

For years, that meant choosing. A chair that belonged in the living room, or a chair that truly supported the body. Either way, something had to give. The problem was never that serious support couldn’t feel like home. It was that no one had put the two together.

Before Dynox, our founder spent ten years building motion furniture for respected functional-furniture brands. Then we spent seven years serving lift chair customers across the U.S. — working directly with nearly 50,000 households.

We learned what makes a recliner genuinely comfortable, and what people actually need from real support. But most of all, we heard thousands of real voices.

That is where Dynox really begins — in those conversations. We didn’t hand the design to a studio. We handed it to the people who talk to customers every day.

And so, the Dynox X5. Real support isn’t something you bolt on at the end — so we built it in from the start, with five independent motors where the industry standard is two. It is a genuinely comfortable recliner and a serious lift recliner, in one.

It is designed in New Jersey, where our team still answers the phone. And it is made to order — because a chair you’ll live with for years shouldn’t be pulled off a stack in a warehouse.
