Why should anyone have to choose?
Most people aren't looking for a "lift chair." They're looking for a recliner that's genuinely comfortable — one that sits beautifully, looks right in the living room, fits into their life, and is there with real support when they need it.
But the choices never measured up. Furniture stores sell lift recliners that look the part — but the support is often an afterthought, just a recliner with a lift added on. Mobility and medical retailers have the real engineering — but it only lives in those stores, so buying it feels like a medical errand, not like choosing a piece for your home.
The problem was never that serious support couldn't feel like home. It's that no one had put the two together. So for years, people had to choose: a chair that belonged in the living room, or one that truly supported the body — and either way, something had to give.
Before Dynox, our founder spent fifteen years building motion furniture for respected functional-furniture brands. Then we spent seven years serving lift chair customers across the U.S. — working directly with nearly 50,000 households. We learned what makes a recliner truly comfortable, and what people genuinely need from real support. Most of all, we heard thousands of real voices.

- True Zero-Gravity — independently adjustable angle (not preset), so you set the geometry that puts YOUR knees slightly above YOUR heart.
- Near-Flat Rest + Zero-Gravity, One Chair — the 5-motor design achieves both geometries in the same chair.
- Made-to-order quality — chairs are built when ordered, not pulled from warehouse inventory. Lead time 6-8 weeks for custom configurations reflects build approach, not delays.

The Dynox X5 is designed by the Dynox design team at Silver Isy Life Inc. in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Our engineering combines decades of experience in power recliner manufacturing with a design philosophy that explicitly rejects the medical-coded aesthetic of traditional lift chairs.
We don't claim 50 years of heritage. We don't have a famous founder photo. What we have is engineering depth, design discipline, and a clear point of view: it lifts you — never labels you.

If your Dynox X5 needs attention in the first 12 months, we send a technician to your home — limited complimentary in-home service at our discretion, contiguous US only. After Year 1, paid repair and parts service is available for the lifetime of the chair.
